Rochel's
Cheder Club
Rochel's Cheder Club (Beit Rochel!) has just completed Year 2019-2020 (5780).

It was a challenging year for all the obvious reasons, but it was also a year in which the children thrived in every way.

The Zoom classes seemed at first to be an imposition, but with Rochel's clever and innovative use of online technology, the classes proved to be a smash hit!

Rochel also phoned each child either before or after the Zoom lesson to give one-to-one tuition in their reading, which became a success with the children and with them actually looking forward to the call!

The year concluded with goody bags being delivered to each child in their home, and a final Zoom lesson that included a Kahoot game based on their lessons and each other. Well done to Aron and Tahlia for coming top!

It goes without saying that parents and children are looking forward to Cheder Year 2020-2021. If you would like to register for the coming Cheder year, please be in touch with Rochel. You can visit the Cheder page here.
About Us
Watford Jewish Community is run by Rabbi Ephraim and Rochel Levine and their boys, under the auspices of Chabad.

Ephraim and Rochel spent 13 years in Watford and really got to know the beautiful community well. During that time, all their boys grew from babies to young boys (two were born while in Watford) and so they too are part of Watford is all about.

Many people don't realise there is a community in Watford, and in many ways, that is what is so beautiful about it: quiet, unassuming, private. But the Jewish heart of Watford is huge when it comes to celebrating Jewish events and life cycles, Watford knows what to do!
