Rochel's Cheder Club, run and taught by Rochel, is one of Watford's greatest successes. There are a wealth of children who attend and whose level of Jewish knowledge and ability to read Hebrew fluently has risen dramatically.

Until lockdown, lessons took place in a private home in the heart of Watford on Monday after school. Lessons start with a snack while reciting the appropriate brachot (blessings) over the relevant item of food. Lessons then continue with davening, and then learning.

The heart and soul of Rochel's cheder has always been fun! Boys and girls can only learn in a fun and relaxed environment. Speak to any parents whose children have attended and they will all tell you the same thing: our kids actually look forward to coming to cheder!
